THIS CONTRACT APPOINTMENT WILL END TWO YEARS FROM THE DATE OF HIRE WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF EXTENSION.

Job Summary:

Under the general direction of the Project Director or Implementation Lead, the organizational change management lead is responsible for campus change management efforts of a replacement system from the current Payroll Personnel System (PPS) to a new system-wide HRIS and payroll system called UCPath. UCPath is an acronym for University of California Payroll, Academic Personnel, Timekeeping and Human Resources. The change management lead will directly complete detailed analysis, project planning and customer support for all assigned tasks. Essential responsibilities include design, plan and implement a structured, comprehensive change management strategy that will be applied at each stage of the project implementation and campus business process analysis.

Minimum Qualifications:

Business management experience with an understanding of operational and customer requirements within an academic institution or other environment of similar complexity.
Experience leading large scale change efforts of significant complexity and importance.
Experience integrating change management principles and concepts into effective methodologies.
Experience analyzing and implementing organizational systems, both technical and non-technical to support business needs.
Experience with business process mapping and methodologies.
Experience conducting quantitative and qualitative research using a variety of methodologies and sources.
Experience in data analysis and evaluation to define and recommend options and alternatives.
Project management skills.
Team-building, interpersonal and conflict management skills to interact effectively with high-level executives, administrators, faculty, staff and members of the public from a wide range of functional areas, backgrounds and organizational levels.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
